Dual Alarm Clock Radio CDs For Those Who Sleep Through Their Favorite Tunes

December 2nd, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed

When you want to wake up in the morning, you probably have to rely on an alarm clock to get you up. Most people have a dual alarm clock radio cd in their bedrooms that gets them up when they need to for work or for whatever else they need to get up for. A dual alarm clock radio cd will either emit a high pitched screeching alarm that is sure to wake you up, or it will allow you to wake up with your favorite radio station playing. Most people have their preference for what they’d like to wake up to but both alarm and radio folk have to worry about that pesky snooze button that often makes them late.

Radio Alarm

The dual alarm clock radio cd has a great radio function that allows you to choose your favorite radio station to wake up to. You simply set your dual alarm clock radio cd the night before, setting it to go off to the radio station of your choice, and you’ll be awakened the next morning by the music of your choice. You can choose your favorite Top 40, Jazz, News or Easy Listening station, or anything else you want, and your dual alarm clock radio cd will wake you up to hopefully your favorite song.

High Pitched Alarm

If the radio doesn’t seem to wake you up, your dual alarm clock radio cd also comes with a real alarm. Unless you have another type of clock, such as a nature sounds clock radio, this is typically a high pitched screeching alarm that will not only sound like nails on a chalk board, but it’s sure to wake you up even in the deepest realms of dream land. Some people can’t stand this alarm function on their dual alarm clock radio cds, but that’s kind of the point. It’s better to get up to something that’s going to wake you up rather than sleep through your favorite song so you’re late for work.

Snooze Button

Whether you’re an alarm person or a radio person, don’t get stuck in the snooze button trap. Most dual alarm clock radio cds have a snooze button that allows you to postpone the alarm for a few more minutes so that you can get a little more sleep. Most people hit that snooze button three or four times before they actually get up. This can make you late. If this describes you, you may want to set your alarm a few minutes earlier than normal so that you aren’t late for whatever engagements you have for that day.

Digital Tuning Clock Radios Have Been Around For A Long Time And Are Here To Stay

November 30th, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed

It’s unlikely that the digital tuning clock radio will go away anytime soon. People have been using digital tuning clock radios for a long time. There used to only be those wind up clocks that you had to set and they would ring with a bell the next morning. They were difficult to read and they certainly didn’t wake you up with the radio. Today we have digital tuning clock radios which are easy to read, they’re more accurate and you can wake up to your favorite radio station and, hopefully, your favorite song.

Dual Functions

Of course, some people choose not to wake up to the radio with their digital tuning clock radios. Most digital tuning clock radios are in fact dual alarm clock radios. That means that you can choose between that screeching alarm or the radio to wake you up. Some people don’t like to have the radio wake them up because it often fails to do so. They find themselves sleeping through the songs, especially if it’s their favorite song. In fact, some have reported that the songs become part of their dreams. The digital tuning clock radios can emit that screeching alarm that’s sure to wake you up and you never have to worry about being late for work because you slept through whatever the radio happened to be playing.

The Snooze Button

People often have a love/hate relationship with their snooze button. It’s on most every digital tuning clock radio. That snooze button allows you to delay the alarm for an extra few minutes. When the alarm goes off and you’re not ready to wake up, you can hit snooze and then wait a little longer for the alarm to go off again. Just don’t fall into that trap of hitting snooze three or four times as most people are prone to do, as that can really make you late for whatever engagement you’re trying to wake up early for.

The digital tuning clock radio is here to stay. Most people have one and they rely on them to get them up when they need to. Of course, there is more advanced technology out there to wake you up. There are MP3 player alarms and most cell phones even have alarms that many people rely on. There are still those, however, who prefer older technology so it’s not likely that the digital tuning clock radio will go the way of the dinosaurs just yet.

What’s The Difference Between A Sangean Atomic Clock Radio And A Regular Clock Radio?

November 28th, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed

The NIST, or the National Institute Of Standards And Technology, together with the University of Colorado at Boulder developed the most accurate Atomic Clock in the world that is accurate to less than one second every 200 million years. This makes the atomic clock the most accurate clock in the world. Now, you can have that kind of accuracy in the privacy of your own home and you can even wake up to such accurate time with a Sangean atomic clock radio. The sangean atomic clock radio sets itself by synchronizing with the real atomic clock in Boulder and you can set your favorite radio station to wake up to so that you’re always on time. Unlike regular clock radios that you have to set yourself, you’ll know your time is always accurate when you have a Sangean atomic clock radio in your home.

Where To Get One

Sangean atomic clock radios are becoming the new rage and many people are picking them up at their favorite tech stores. You can find sangean atomic clock radios wherever the newest technology is sold, such as Circuit City, Best Buy, Radio Shack and more. Or, you can find sangean atomic clock radios online. You may want to check consumer reports or just check the various reviews that users leave online to see which ones are the best, for some have better features than others, but if you’re getting a Sangean atomic clock radio, you can bet that you’re going to get the most accurate time available.

What Features Are Available?

The best part about sangean atomic clock radios, as opposed to just regular digital clock radios, is that the time is always accurate and they set themselves. However, some sangean atomic clock radios allow you to set multiple alarm times. That means that you can have a different time set for the weekdays, say when you have to wake up for work, and then a different time on the weekends, when you don’t have to wake up for work. This is very convenient and you never have to worry about constantly setting your alarm. Many sangean atomic clock radios also allow you to scan radio stations so that you can find your favorite stations and many allow you to have different stations set up for different wake up times.

All of these features make sangean atomic clock radios far superior to regular clock radios so you should definitely upgrade your clock radio today.

Alarm Clock Phone Radios Are Great To Wake Up To

November 26th, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed

Most alarm clocks have those annoying screeching sounds that are sure to wake you up. Most people find these types of alarms to be very annoying, however, and they often wake up in a bad mood because they were subjected to such a sound. That’s why many people prefer to wake up to an alarm clock phone radio. An alarm clock phone radio will allow you to wake up to music, which is much more pleasant. Music can do wonders for your mood and sense of well being so if you’re going to wake up to something, you may as well wake up to your favorite music.

You Set The Station

The best part about an alarm clock phone radio is that you can set the station that you want to wake up to. Of course, the music you wake up to is going to be chosen by the DJ that morning but you can at least set the alarm clock phone radio to your favorite station so that you’re at least guaranteed to wake up to your favorite type of music. Whether you prefer to wake up to the Top 40 station, the news station, the jazz station or easy listening station, set your alarm clock phone radio before you go to bed and you’ll wake up to your favorite type of music.

Be Careful

Some people have found out that if they wake up to their favorite music on their alarm clock phone radio that they don’t actually wake up. Some people need that jarring screeching sound to actually get up to turn off the alarm. If you wake up to your alarm clock phone radio playing your favorite song, for instance, you could end up laying there and sleeping through it because you don’t want to turn it off. So make sure you’re actually going to wake up to your alarm clock phone radio, even if it’s playing your favorite song.

The Snooze Button

Also, don’t be one of those people who hits the snooze button every time the alarm clock phone radio goes off. Most people, in fact, hit the snooze button three or four times before they actually get up. If this describes you, you may want to set your alarm clock phone radio to go off much earlier than you actually have to get up. That way, you can hit snooze a couple of times on your alarm clock phone radio and actually wake up on time. Just make sure you set the correct time, or use an atomic clock radio, so that you have the accurate time and you get up on time for work or whatever else you have to get up for.

Whatever Happened To Emerson CD Clock Radios?

November 24th, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed

You have all your favorite music on CDs and you used to love listening to them on your Emerson cd clock radio. Today, however, not many people have CDs anymore. Most people copy their CDs onto their computer so that they can listen to them with their MP3 players. That means that not many people have Emerson cd clock radios anymore. However, there are still those who hang onto old technology. The CD isn’t gone yet. Most people have a Emerson cd clock radio in their car, on their bed stand at home, or in their living room. CD radios still come in handy when you’re having a party or when you’re just in the mood to lay back and listen to your favorite CDs. So if you’re wondering whatever happened to the Emerson cd clock radios, they’re still around as long as you know where to look for them.

Alarms

Some people still have CD alarm clock radios that they love to wake up to in the morning. They can set their Emerson cd clock radio alarm to play their favorite CD in the morning and it’s a great way to start the day. Music does wonders for the mind and body and when you wake up to your favorite music with a Emerson cd clock radio alarm, you are setting a great tone for the rest of your day. Of course, they also make MP3 player alarm clocks that allow you to do the same thing but, again, some people just prefer to stick with the older technology of CDs.

Multiple CDs

Some Emerson cd clock radios allow you to hold multiple CDs in one player. These often look very fancy and have three or more holders for your favorite CDs. There are also CD changers that allow you to hold sometimes up to five CDs in one player. When one CD is finished in your Emerson cd clock radio, it will automatically switch to the next one and so on. Or, you can set it to random which will allow your Emerson cd clock radio to play in a totally random order so that you never get bored of the same repetitious music.

Don’t Forget The Radio

The Emerson cd clock radio isn’t just for CDs. You can always switch to the radio to listen to your favorite Top 40 music or whatever else you’re into. Some people like to listen to the news on the AM stations. But there’s also the time, which will allow you to know what time it is while listening to your favorite music. With all of these features, the Emerson cd clock radio isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Is The Pink Clock Radio Alarm Going The Way Of The VCR?

November 22nd, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed

When the VCR first came out it was great. You could watch movies in the privacy of your own home, you could rewind and rewatch your favorite parts and you could save those movies to watch again and again. It revolutionized how we watched movies. However, nowadays we have DVD players and the VCR players are becoming obsolete. The same thing, it seems, is happening to the pink clock radio alarm. Many people aren’t using pink clock radio alarms like they used to. Today we have MP3 players that allow us to wake up to our favorite music instead of just relying on whatever may be on the radio that morning. Are pink clock radio alarms becoming obsolete? Maybe so, but there are still those who live by them and wake up to them every morning.

Why Some People Don’t Like Them

Some people don’t like pink clock radio alarms because they just don’t wake them up. Most pink clock radio alarms have a dual function that allows you to wake up to an annoying screeching alarm. This is more effective for waking you up. When you wake up to music, some people won’t wake up. They’ll simply lay there and dream about the music they’re listening to; which makes the pink clock radio alarm kind of useless. However, with the MP3 alarm, you can choose what music to wake up to. You may want to choose music you don’t like so that you’re forced to turn it off; thus waking you up.

Some Still Swear By Them

There are still those who prefer the pink clock radio alarm to wake up to. They don’t want MP3 alarm clocks or CD pink clock radios that allow you to choose what you wake up to, they want to leave their music to chance. They want every morning to be different. If you wake up to the same music every morning, you can fall into the trap of not paying attention to it. If you leave your music choices to the radio station you choose to set the pink clock radio to, you have a chance to wake up to new music every day, which could set a great tone for the rest of your day.

The pink clock radio alarm will probably never go away. Some people may not like them and may prefer MP3 player alarm clocks, but there are still enough pink clock radio alarm clock enthusiasts around to keep this technology alive; unlike the obsolete VCR.
